Business Development Manager - Dynamic will play a key role in managing sales process and assist the regional sales teams in sales and marketing activities for dynamic products. He/she will provide the direction & leadership to the regional sales staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and overall sales target for the dynamic business in India.
Location: Chennai / Gurugram / Pune / Vadodara / Bangalore / or anywhere in India
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible to achieve the sales target for the dynamic business in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh region.
- Managing the complete sales process for all dynamic products and supporting the regional sales teams.
- Develop and implement growth strategy to increase order entry and brand awareness of dynamic products in India
- Responsible for actively driving lead finding activities and generate new opportunities for dynamic products.
- Meeting with customers to assist in technical, application and commercial aspects of sales process.
- Present technical presentation and demonstration, if applicable, to the customer to meet their needs.
- Manage and interpret customer requirements, speaking with customers to understand their requirement and offer our solution to meet their needs.
- Support in preparation of techno commercial offers, tenders, technical compliance statements.
- Interface between producing division in Germany and sales team in India and provide regular feedback from the market on products and applications.
- Process orders to producing division after technical review, handover and assist service department with application support for proper installation and commissioning of the machine.
- Maintaining good relationship with the customers throughout the sales and after sales process.
- Assist after-sales team with application support to consult customers for accessories and modernization requirements.
- Review, monitor and report competitor activities.
- Support marketing department for marketing events (exhibitions, conferences, fairs, seminars) in dedicated region and work closely to conduct such activities.
- Attend and arrange exhibitions, conferences, ZwickRoell Forums (ZRF), ZwickRoell Seminars (ZRS) and similar events for the purpose of attracting and retaining customers, increasing the network, branding of products, increase market awareness.
- Ensure to update records of customer communication and sales activity in the ZwickRoell CRM system (PULSE) and follow internal communication protocols and workflows.
- Fulfil adhoc duties assigned by sales manager.
Education, Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Metallurgy / Mechatronics / Material Science)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing the complete direct sales process of material testing machines – dynamics.
- Experience in managing the regional sales and marketing for material testing machines.
- Knowledge of Materials Testing & Materials Properties.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical & Electronics.
- Good communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs.
- Ability to work independently, goal-oriented and has a flexible approach to work.
- Willing to travel to attend customer meetings and technical visits.
- Proficiency in German language would be advantageous.
