Job overview:
The HR Assistant Manager will support HR operations and coordinate payroll, taxation, statutory compliance, employee insurance, time management system, leave management system, policies, and processes. The HR Assistant Manager will also support for recruitment, training and HR development activities and outlook to become HR Manager based on performance and experience.

Your tasks

  • Coordinate with payroll vendor for payroll processing, payroll inputs, checking of payroll and payroll confirmation for salary transfer
  • Coordinate with payroll vendor for all employee income tax related matter including coordinate for annual income tax, form 16
  • Coordinate with payroll vendor for statutory compliance and statutory return filings
  • Coordinate with vendor and ensure the maintenance of Shops & Establishment registers and display of notices
  • Administer Time Management System and Leave Management system and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate with insurance vendor and with new employees to complete the enrolment process for employee insurance: hospitalization, accidental, term life, workmen injury compensation as well as new addition and deletion of existing members
  • Manage version control of Employee HR Handbook for all the changes in policies and processes
  • Handle employee queries in coordination with vendor related to Payroll, Provident Fund, Employee State Insurance Corporation, Taxation
  • Prepare monthly employee headcount report and submit to HR manager
  • Coordinate training events including logistics for trainings
  • Support HR Manager for various tasks
  • Coordination with corporate and regional HR to rollout group-wide initiatives

Your profile

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General HR operations, Payroll and Compliance
  • Good communications skills
  • Knowledge of Shops & Establishment compliance
  • Ability to work independently as well as goal-oriented and flexible approach to work
  • Proficiency in PC software and good knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Proficiency in English
  • Language skill for Hindi and Tamil would be advantageous
  • 10% travel requirement
