Position Overview
The Senior Finance & Accounts Analyst in this role will support monthly and yearly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple entities by delivering timely analysis, ensuring accurate consolidation, and providing insights on performance variances, risks, and opportunities. The position also contributes to data-driven decision-making, and regional finance activities, including system accuracy and cross-functional project support.
This role also involves core accounting functions including bookkeeping, bank payments and audit coordination.

Job Responsibilities
- Support group reporting for ZwickRoell India and other entities by preparing monthly reports, completing intercompany reconciliations, uploading plans and forecasts.
- Ensure correct mapping of accounts between local accounting system and group reporting system.
- Support budget & forecast preparation across multiple entities.
- Support monthly reporting with variance analysis of actuals against budget and forecast.
- Track performance against plan and forecast and highlight risks and opportunities to the management.
- Continuously analyse revenue, margins and cost structures across business verticals and prepare reports.
- Core accounting activities like bookkeeping, bank payments, A/R & A/P Management
- Independently manage audits for assigned areas, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Assist transfer pricing audit with data and analysis.
- Provide accurate financial data and insights to support ongoing company projects.
- Support process improvement and automation initiatives of the company.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.
- Act as a secondary support function to manage regional capacity fluctuations.
- Support Board Meetings and AGMs with data and presentations.
Education, Experience & Requirements
Education
- Bachelors / Post Graduate Degree in Finance.
Experience
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a professional corporate setting, preferably within a sales and service organization or an audit/outsourcing firm, with a strong focus on data analysis, preparation and analysis of MIS reports. Prior experience working with a multinational corporation (MNC) is highly desirable.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience in data analysis, preparing and analysing MIS reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Working knowledge of leading accounting software or ERP systems; experience with Zoho is a plus.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange regulations and tax-related procedures
- Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- The position involves 10% travel.
